Had a 9am diagnostic booked. Waited over 30 minutes to be seen. Spent less than 5 minutes on my car and was told to get genuine parts instead of aftermarket ones I had fitted. I asked if they can test other related issues to ensure that was the problem and was refused. No advice given as to where I might purchase decent parts. Turns out that was wrong and the new parts didnt work and had to be removed by my next garage so 100 wasted Only small mercy is, I wasnt charged for the diagnostic. However, I would have preferred that they just completed the diagnostic properly to find the cause as Ive had to waste time and a lot of money as a result Edit: your reply just shows the lack of professionalism. I booked over the phone 2 weeks in advance for 6th March at 9am. I was reluctant to pay 60 for less than 5 minutes work and no advice. After highlighting this, the mechanic said I wouldnt be charged Service: Auto engine diagnostic
