Excellent customer service today from a sales assistant named Paul who helped us with our new baby buggy we purchased he was very helpful and very polite he is a credit to your store will definitely be asking for Paul for help again he deserves a big thank you

Can find just about anything, but not cheap, staff helpful and friendly.

I was hoping to buy a spare booster seat for my nephew, (who wasn't with me at the time) so my daughter wanted to see which was the most comfortable and try them out to be the judge of which was the best one for him, when a woman member of staff come over to make the statement of "she's not heavy enough to use that seat" in a snotty manner to which I replied " I know yes" my polite way of saying Leave me alone, I didn't ask your opinion and don't just make assumptions without asking me who its for first. Unconvinced with my answers she proceeded to tell me "if you get stopped by the police you'll get a fine" to which I reply "Right OK whatever yes..." I don't appreciate being implied to be a liar for a question that was never asked of me and don't appreciate your continued assumptions. Not feeling she is deserving of a reaction, I then walk off without saying anymore with the seat in hand to buy it, my partner spots her going to tell another member of staff (probably not to serve me) and they both start following us towards the till, I put the seat down at this point and am ready to leave without buying anything but my partner convinced me to atleast buy the toys we had, We get to the till and watch as the woman member of staff goes to talk the manager and they both pretend not to be talking about us but both cant stop looking over at us as if they where planning to refuse the sale of the seat. This woman member of staff needs to learn how to talk to and how to approach customers and if she's going to be a grass, atleast don't get caught talking about the customers infront of the customers, I will be refusing to shop in smyths swansea because of her bad attitude from now on. She single handedly turned what should of been a happy experience and I expect better of staff in a toy shop.
