Optical Express Laser Eye Surgery & Opticians: Swansea

I had Lasek with optical express around two weeks ago after wearing contact lenses for around 20 years. I finally decided to get laser eye with optical express and from start to finish the process has been absolutely amazing. Dr Luca Antico carried out the procedure and I can honestly say he has changed my life in giving me 20/20 vision again. The process was quick easy in a very calm environment. The follow up care with Shameela + Natalie has been absolutely amazing they have not been able to do enough for me. I couldn't recommend Optical express enough.

My husband has had Amazing care . The initial assessment was so thorough to see if he was suitable for surgery, the planning of the surgery was simple and aftercare excellent. Highly recommend this company

The cataract surgery was very well managed, I had my previous operation at a different private hospital and my experience with optical express was much better and the follow up is also very good

Lasik Eye Surgery Review I had been thinking about having laser eye surgery done for such a long time to get rid of wearing glasses but always put it off due to being nervous. I decided to go and discuss with Optical Express Swansea to see if I was applicable to have it done. From the minute I walked into there and discussed my options I felt I was in safe hands and decided to go ahead with the surgery. The payment options are very flexible they require a 500 deposit then the rest of the money can be paid 10 months interest free. The surgery was very successful and had very little pain during surgery. Immediately after my eyes were stinging and I could barely open them for a few hours which was strange but completely normal. After getting home and resting with my eyes closed for a few hours I was able to open my eyes by the evening with hardly no pain. I seen Optical Express in Cardiff the day after surgery for a follow up appointment to make sure there were no issues all was ok and passed 2020 vision checks the day after which is unbelievable! You are advised to wear sunglasses outdoors for the first week to stop dust and any bacteria getting into your eyes this also helps you adjust to how bright light is etc. The team told me to carry on with eye drops as instructed as it is vitally important to do this to stop infection. My vision was so clear the day after surgery so there was no problems with me returning back to work. My eyes were a little bloodshot to each corner of the eye for around a month but this doesn't cause no pain at all and does start to clear after 3 weeks of surgery. 2 Months on from Surgery this has been the best decision I have ever made my vision is so clear being able to see the way I can now is unbelievable such a game changer! I have recently had the 1 month review in Swansea where they ensure all is healthy with your eyes and heeling well. Another vision check is done where again I was hitting 2020 vision which is incredible. A massive shout out for Natalie & Kavneet at Swansea who were extremely supportive throughout the whole process. Cant thank them enough for how supportive they were with me as they knew how nervous I was. Overall I would highly recommended this surgery to anyone it is incredible.
