        JUST SPENT THE WEEKEND PLAYING SKITTLES WITH THE HILLBILLIES SKITTLE TEAM FROM BARRY ALTHOUGH WE DIDNT WIN WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME, THE HOTEL, ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES WERE FIRST CLASS. THE STAFF WERE EXCEPTIONAL NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE FOR THEM BUT A SPECIAL MENTION FOR A SPECIAL MEMBER OF STAFF HER NAME IS JESS AND SHE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND HER JOB TO HELP US HAVE A BRILLIANT TIME SO THANK YOU ALL AT THE ABERAVON BEACH HOTEL ESPECIALLY JESS FOR A FANTASTIC WEEKEND.         Rooms: Rooms food value for money and housekeeping make them as clean as is possible with dated rooms and furnishings. Walkability: Nice beach just across the road, nice views. Food & drinks: There was no food on offer, we went to the local Harvester about a mile up the road. Noteworthy details: Advertised leisure facilities at this hotel are NOT available
