Bailey's Fish Bar

Stopped at Bailey's Cop Shop Chippy yesterday on the way home in a spontaneous visit and was impressed from the moment we walked in, I was struck by the spotless cleanliness of the restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. But the real star of the show was the food. The fish and chips were cooked to perfection, with crispy batter and flaky, succulent fish inside. The chips were just the right texture, not too crunchy or too soft, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell that the ingredients were fresh and of high quality. Price wise I guess it was normal, pricing of all take aways have risen sharply, making the occasion more special as a treat after a long day. Sadly the aroma of food order resulted in it being eaten before we got home. We sat in the car and consumed it all there and then, even with the windows clouding over with the steam coming off the chips. Overall, I highly recommend Bailey's Cop Shop Chippy to anyone in search of delicious, high-quality fish and chips. The restaurant's sparkling cleanliness and friendly staff only add to the experience, making it an all-around wonderful place to dine.

A nice enough chippie, but nothing special. The portion of chips I got, which was supposed to be small, was in fact really large. Overall, I thought it was a bit pricey, but not too bad.

The meal were ordered from this establishment was small (when everything was ordered at large sizes), dry and tasteless. Very disappointing.
