Single IVF with PGS - Swansea/Cardiff. Although the overall service was good, we feel we could have been better initially advised on alternative options that would be more cost effective and increased our success chances. It felt like a bit of a money grab in the end.

We approached the clinic when told my wife started early menopause. We paid for full fertility checks for myself and my wife. We were told the test results showed conclusively that my wife would be unable to conceive naturally. As she had no follicles and a blocked tube. And had entered menopause!!!!!! The only way we could conceive would be to use a donor egg. We were then sat in front of a So called Dr / Sales person who set about explaining how lovely it would be to search through there catalogue of potential egg donors. Whilst continually reminding us it would be impossible for us to conceive with out a donor egg. Luckily my wife and I had made the decision not to go ahead with any IVF. Unless we had the ability to use our own egg before attending the clinic. The Dr / or so called cheap sales man. Kept pulling on heart strings to get the sale. Explaining costs. And finance options. The cheap sales man also kept saying to my wife on how lovely it would be to provide me a child. 11 months later my wife has given birth to my beautiful son naturally and NO IVF and NO DONOR EGG hes absolutely perfect. Goes to show can you really TRUST these people. With what they explain to you at the time and when they start pulling on your heart strings. We understand all circumstances are different but there was definitely a price tag put on our happiness by the clinic. After paying a fortune to be seen. We left with no paperwork and no scan images. Makes you think what they are actually telling you is true. THANKFULLY WE DID NOT BUY ANY OF IT. I dont expect a reply. Theres nothing you can say ! Honestly you lot make me laugh. You have no reply and no comments. Still waiting for my scans and paperwork. Where are they ??? Complete utter joke. Great Response ?????? NO RESPONSE : Update our son is 3 years old. enough said really

I had fertility testing with my then husband about 10 years ago. My husband we knew had a problem which was confirmed and Ivf was suggested despite me already falling pregnant naturally but sadly ended in miscarriage. I decided to share my eggs with women who needed them through egg share. When it came to my testing I was told my ovarian reserve was very very low due to a low fsh level so ivf would be less successful and I had virtually no chance of falling pregnant naturally with my husband. This resulted in the break down of our marriage as the guilt that I couldn't give him a child (I already had two from a previous relationship) ate at me until I could no longer take it. I went on to have two more children in a new relationship with no problems what so ever. Due to recent health, my ovarian reserve was tested. Absolutely normal. Nothing wrong with my ovarian reserve. I told the Dr I was told 10 years ago that I had low ovarian reserve could it have improved and was told no. After alot of research yes the Dr was right if you have a low ovarian reserve it does not improve. I believe I was misdiagnosed. I did contact the Clinic after my initial low reserve diagnosis as I was really worried but didn't get a reply so cut ties.
