We first brought our chocolate lab Woody to K9 College when he was just 4 months old. We attended puppy training and came back a couple of times, but always stayed with him as we never felt that should anything happen there was enough staff to keep him safe. This morning we decided to pop in as we felt he needs to spend some time with other dogs. What followed has left us shocked. Right after we came in a staffie launched at our pup for absolutely no reason, grabbed his ear and wouldn't let go. None of the staff were around to help us and the dog's owner just stood there, clearly scared of her own pet. There was a moment when I was certain my pup will be left with no ear. The whole thing lasted at least a couple of minutes and no one came to help. Eventually my partner grabbed the staffie and tried to lift him of our dog while I was forced to try and open his jaws myself putting myself in serious danger. When the owner finally arrived (when the whole thing was over) he asked "Who started it?" to which I replied he knows very well our dog has never shown any signs of aggression and the staffie shouldn't have been allowed on premises (all dogs need to be assessed !) The owners' response was that I'm being very rude. That staffie (Pablo I believe?) is a danger to all the other dogs in K9 College and potentially other people. We certainly won't be coming back. Stay away and keep your pups safe !!!
