Fforestfach Medical Centre

I filled out the registration forms for myself and my husband several times. I am pregnant and my wife is sick and our house is a little far away. However, I traveled the distance alone every time and handed in the forms. Now, almost a month and a half later, I asked to make an appointment for my wife. And they said none of you are registered!!!! I said it is not possible, I have filled the forms several times and yet I came, every time you told me that you have to fill the form from the beginning and you are not registered!!!! Really I am amazed how they say so easily go fill these forms and bring them later and later they say your forms are not here!!! Such behavior towards a pregnant woman and a sick man is far from being responsible and respecting the rights of the patient

They got a new phone system, thought this would be a good solution to the phoning issues. However, i called first thing and was 7th in the queue. Stayed in 7th place for 30 minutes (i assume they werent actually answering calls) and after 50 minutes got to first caller. They then hung up on me. Tried calling again and got placed 42nd in the queue.

A lot of negative comments so ill try to even the playing field a bit. I rarely see a GP (thankfully) but i phoned this morning at 9:15 and got an appointment at 11am. Dr McCarthy could not have done more for me if she tried. She took time, was very meticulous in her analysis and has given a thorough plan going forward. So far I really cant fault the service of this surgery or indeed Dr McCarthy

Staff have been very accommodating and patient with me. Always dealt with respect and kindness.
