I called in here Saturday and I couldn't believe how rude the staff were. The individual on the til could barely respond to me when I asked a question. They just talked amongst themselves (how dare I come in and spoil their fun) Dreadful customer service.

I like Shaw's and wouldn't normally leave a review. This is about a very rude member of staff in Port Talbot. (Aberavon centre) Yesterday I bought a quilt that was defective. I discovered it when I got home. I took it back and asked if I could check it before leaving as I had to drive, pay for parking also the inconvenience. To be told No we're not allowed! I told her that I will open it as it's my money. Again she repeated We're not allowed! I told her that I will be opening it before I leave. Then she walked off! The other young lady was lovely.

They have some nice things around Christmas time but generally can't find what I need in there. Also, on occasion, I have met with very poor attitude towards customers by some of the staff there. One of these occasions happened last week which prompted me to write is review. Maybe staff don't receive proper training.
