I've been using the baby bug nursery for the last three years for my children. My oldest started here when she was nearly 3. She previously been with a childminder but baby bug was very accommodating when I had to find new childcare at short notice due to childminder illness. My oldest loves it there she still attends the holiday club . The children do lots of activities and have lots of day trips out visits to the park and the woods. I've always been really happy with how much time they spend outdoors. The children have always had plenty of fun here . My youngest is almost 3 and has been there since 9 months. He loves to go and loves the food there often having second helping to food! Everything is homemade from fresh which is great. The staff and friendly very nice the kids love them. If I've ever had any questions staff are very approachable. We use the government scheme tax free childcare scheme. Also we have used the 30 hours free childcare with my oldest. They have taken my oldest and picked up from school and never had any problems. We have been happy with the service we received from the nursery.

I can't thank the nursery enough. Returning to work after having a baby is such a daunting time, but the Baby Bug Nursery helped so much with the transition. My son has come on leaps and bounds, he is so happy there. The staff and friendly and caring, it feels like a big family. They can't do enough to help you, and the children do the loveliest things whilst in their care. I really recommend this nursery!

Its not very often I will post anything negative about a company or an organisation so bare with me. My baby girl started school on Friday which was very daunting for her at the age of three. Unfortunately we had to take her out of the nursery that she was very well cared for, the same nursery I used for Ashton. Completely professional as well as personal and every member of staff is amazing (Trusting hands) couldnt praise them enough. They do not do school runs which is the reason we had to leave. I put my faith in another nursery THE BABY BUG NURSERY in gowerton. When sending the application form in and having no response two weeks later to say they had received it, I called to confirm. Then the day before she started on a Sunday evening I receive an email asking what days she would be attending, I emailed back stating days and times and when to collect from school as in her application form. Over four times I was then asked on collection. So Friday comes and I was anxious as this was her first day so I called the nursery to check she was ok to be told she was a little upset as they collected her 20 mins late - ok, first day getting her so I understood. The manager told me that as of Monday they will send another member of staff to get Myla so the other one can go to the other schools so that they would not be late again. Today comes round and feeling anxious again I thought I would call to see how she was.......before I could do so I get a call from her dad to say that Myla has not been collected . He was already on his way racing up the road! I called the nursery to ask why my daughter had not been collected to be told that she wasnt down for a Monday!!! Even though this had been communicated on several occasions. I was then told thats she must of slipped through the net!!! What a comment to make to a parent! Their excuse was that having new children start this September and parents sending application forms in late and training new staff they were a little unorganised getting things sorted!! Surely these are issues you iron out before the start of term and before agreeing to collect children from school! Safe to say she will not be returning and myself and my ex husband have made arrangements for her to go back to the nursery she loves and one we can trust. I would strongly advise for you to think twice about using this nursery!
