Its a great bank, my only criticism is it closes at 1400. The staff are mega helpful and nothing is too much for them.

AN ABSOLUTE JOKE Made yet another irritating visit to this joke of a bank. If you are expecting a friendly helpful service then this is not the place to be. The self service queue was six people long and almost out of the door so not being totally familiar with the system, and there being no one there to assist when I entered the building I joined the shorter queue of four people to speak to a teller as there appeared to be two .There was in fact one. I raised this issue with the manager on a previous occasion after waiting twenty minutes then being reminded that I could not bring more than 5 bags of coins of which I donate to charity, in future. He said it was policy to have one teller. When asked if that was Barclays policy he confessed it was his. Anyway, back to today- I asked if the manager had changed his mind and now allowed two tellers but it just appears that the second person just happened to be behind the counter. Instead of a 'Sorry for the inconvenience but please may I ask you to use the self service in future' I go a 'Use the self service in future right'. Personal service has gone out of the window. Shocking!
