This church been with me as far back as I can remember, it has a history with my family dating as far back as the early to mid 1800s (according to my recent ancestry research.) Although I have never been a regular attendee to the religious services It has also been a big piece of my life story too. Firstly by playing host to my parents wedding 40 years ago on the (1/8/1980) but also then sadly & more recently (21/2/2020) we held the service of my dearly departed father whose funeral memorial was held there, before he was interred at Coedffranc cemetery. It made me so proud that he managed to attract a crowd that filled the whole church to capacity, it showed us his good character & how well liked he was by people of all ages within our community. The vicar was brilliant & very easy going he allowed my father's long standing childhood friend Martin who's a minister with another chapel to do a joint ceremony with him. Also a few weeks later just before lockdown I went to see him again to thank him for everything whilst chatting i told him about my genealogy research & that I had members of both my parents families interred in the cemetery from around 1750s - 1980s and he helped in finding the exact plots of them all. Including the grave of a family member killed in 1915 France during WW1, but who's name was include on his parents headstone in rememberance after they were buried. All in all I'd highly recommend this church to anyone so much in fact I'm thinking about attending Sunday mass on a more regular basis. I think it's partly to do with me nearing 40 now so "I'm trying to find god, before God finds me" (Quote ref. Chris Rock 2018.)
