The place is situated in a beautiful secluded spot very close to the M4 down behind the McArthur Glen shopping complex. It a very friendly welcoming establishment that serves pub classic meals at reasonable price's. We eaten here a few times and really enjoyed our experience the food has always been nice. My only reason for not giving a five star rating is last Sunday my wife wanted a Sunday dinner. It was 1.30pm when we arrived and when ordering we were told they had no beef or turkey left. All they had was half a chicken on the bone with cooked dinner and vegetables. To me that was a sign not to order Sunday dinner as they must be down to the dregs of everything and I can't stand chicken on the bone with a cooked dinner. So I ordered from the regular menu. My wife's Sunday dinner arrived with the skin over cooked on the chicken leaving a funny taste on the meat and carrots boiled to mush the roasties were nice and the mash was lovely. The pickled cabbage or we think that's what it was wasn't very nice. Then to add insult to injury people who came after us on the next table were served beef and Turkey dinners. That looked considerably better than what my wife was served. My meal was all I expected it to be and I enjoyed it. Maybe a bit of advice if you want Sunday dinner. Book in advance not to be disappointed.
