Barkers Lodge Hotel | Dog Kennels Bridgend

So friendly, professional and perfect environment for when we need to put our dog in to stay! We have put our 1 year old dog in multiple times in Barkers Lodge. Ellie and Asif are so friendly and reassure us when leaving her. It can be a nervous time leaving your dog but having people there who really care about pets and have their best interests at heart really help the experience. My dog loves coming here and having the country walks and access to the mini bar treats. She has really made a bond with the owners and shes so comfortable and at ease when shes with them. Amazing place to put your dog and will continue to use their services in the future! We wouldnt leave our dog with anyone else now that weve experience this!

Used Barkers Lodge whilst on holiday for a day and night. Best kennels weve ever used. First time weve been shown inside the actual kennel which is heated and has ambient music. We also used the grooming facility which was a revelation. Our dog has never looked so good. Top quality dog kennels - fellow kennels take note this is how to do it. Well done Ellie and thank you.

I was looking for a friendly dog kennels in Bridgend for ages and I was recommended Barkers Lodge. From the first meeting they made my cocker spaniel feel comfortable. The room he stayed in had its own heater, and the music they had on was a really nice touch. I would have no hesitation in taking my dog there again. Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend Barkers Lodge enough, what an amazing place. I was very nervous to leave my three dogs anywhere other than with family but Ellie really put my mind at ease and when I saw their room (yes rooms!) I could easily have stayed there myself! You can choose to have a 'mini bar' of treats, which are high-end and all-natural so my three were reluctant to leave in the end More importantly, the love and attention the dogs received was fantastic. Two out of three of my dogs can be nervous around strangers but they ran to Ellie like they'd known her forever and they were besotted with her when I went to collect them, which meant the world to me. Such a lovely place with a real family-feel. My furbabies absolutely loved their time there, thank you for having them and we'll definitely be back
