        We were a group of 11 golfers staying in the area and had a fantastic warm welcome at The Southgate from all the staff and locals. We drank there every day and ate on our final evening, having sampled the other pubs in the area and we weren't disappointed as it was excellent. Great choice of beers and good small wine list. Thanks to the team for the hospitality - so wonderful to see a community pub thriving.

        Best Sunday lunch we've had out in a long while. Friendly, caring young staff who worked their socks off looking after a busy dining room. Would definitely recommend The Southgate to people and will come here again the next time we visit The Gower.
