Yes they are probably profiting from the pandemic but this is a unique product and you are really paying for the coating rather than the snood. I can imagine the development costs were very high initially. I would bet it actually works out similar cost to disposable masks as you get a minimum of 150hrs (3x50hrs between washes) from one of these and hopefully more effective. I do hope they develop the product further and increase the quality as it has huge potential.
