Working farm and stables I felt at home as an ex horse owner and rider. Not too far to walk into Chester. Retail park within a mile or so if you have a bike there is a good network of cycle tracks and a nice walk or cycle along the river. Very friendly, helpful owners. We had to nights there as we needed to charge things up and chill as touring Wales. Chester old town is lovely with lots of bars pubs and restaurants and some very nice independent shops. Dog-friendliness: To be kept on lead as other livestock, dogs and horses everywhere but well behaved dogs welcome.

Great little CL. Just what we like. Hardstanding, electric, tap, recycling, and shared showers. Great cycle routes into Chester & bus stop at the end of the road. Lovely owners who 'just let you get on with it' and have great local knowledge. Surrounded by horses in the livery yard. What's not to love...
