Amanda creates the most marvellous long stitch embroidery of birds and scenes and her husband Dan does cool pottery with place names in a monochrome type style. The whole gallery is inviting and well laid out with other artists work too from paintings to jewellery. It's a very inviting large space yet filled with great art to enjoy.

I look forward to visiting Dan and Amanda in their gallery, every time I visit St David's. It is full of interesting works of art, including paintings; ceramics and textiles, most of which have been made by Dan and Amanda themselves. We usually find this extremely talented couple at work while they welcome visitors. They create the most beautiful and unusual works of art, largely inspired by the local wildlife and countryside. In 2014, Amanda made a striking and intricate tapestry for the Cathedral, where it was recently admired by Prince Charles. This was commissioned by St David's Cathedral, and it gave me the idea to ask her to design and make a peacock for me. It is exceptionally beautiful and greatly admired among my collection of artwork. Amanda prepared some drawings for me to approve and then went on to stitch with bright colours and golden thread to produce what has become a treasured family heirloom. A visit to the gallery is highly recommended, even if you only enjoy looking at artwork, or wish to buy copies of the pictures on greetings cards.
