It is a great privilege to be able to access drumming tuition from this inspiring teacher whose consistent ability to stimulate, encourage and motivate his learners is exceptional. He makes considerable efforts to promote the enjoyment of music to his pupils both in his studio and in the wider community. He has an indefatigable positive outlook and versatility which is clearly demonstrated by his ability to adapt from face to face lessons to online tuition at very short notice if required. Ben's consistently cheery personality and great enthusiasm for the job that he does is hugely admired and appreciated by my son and I certainly wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ben's tuition as first choice to any aspiring drummer.

As an older beginner to drumming (early 40s) , I tried to teach myself, I soon got to a point where I needed help, Ben has been brilliant, helping me with all aspects of drumming, especially timing and technic. If I had carried on with on-line tutorials I really dont think I would of improved like I have, having the one to one lessons with honest feedback has been a great help.

Absolutely brilliant tutor, my daughter loves her drum lessons and with several exam distinctions under her belt I can only thank Ben for his great quality teaching and professional attitude. Prior COVID, there have been plenty of activities to enhance her experience, involved with Music Mania, Drum ensembles for performing/competitions, annual Xmas event giving young drummers opportunities to perform in front of friends & families, Masterclass sessions with Kasabian Drummer Ian Matthews & Steve White (Paul Weller). She has enjoyed a plethora of activites, had fun and is a great little drummer - thanks Ben!

My son has been having lessons with Ben for over 5 years and has developed tremendously as a drummer. Ben is a great teacher as well as a really nice guy, and my son thinks a lot of him. He has a great manner with younger students and has been very supportive with my son, with Ben even coming to see my son play in his band in his own time. Can't recommend more highly.
