We engaged G Parry to knock an internal doorway through the dividing wall between our hallway and integral garage, fit a composite fire door, and plaster our bare-brick hallway (with insulating plaster) and two artex ceilings (regular plaster/board and skim). After providing an initial quote, Emily was happy to add, change and remove various things so that we could get the exact outcome we wanted whilst staying roughly in budget (e.g. we ultimately decided to do our own decorating to keep costs down). They have done a very high quality job of all the work and we are very pleased with the result. A lot of the stress of the job was removed by G Parry providing their own in-house electricians, builders, joiners, plasterers and cleaners, who all arrived on time and at the right stages of the job, rather than us having to deal with each tradesperson independently. All of their staff were friendly, polite and professional. Any minor issues were sorted quickly and without fuss. The only downside was that it took a long time from initially contacting G Parry until the work began, because they are very busy at the moment and it took a while to source the fire door. However once the work began, everything ran very efficiently and they were finished within a couple of weeks. Would recommend and would certainly use G Parry again for any similarly large/complicated home improvement projects. Service: Remodeling
