Pontlottyn Post Office

Zero stars for customer service. Rude, unhelpful, misleading, refusing to provide services that you know a post office should have, like stamped return envelopes. Make you wait while they serve everyone else for groceries. Refused to take mail from me, told me to go over to the post box and post it myself. After 3 unpleasant visits I no longer use this post office.

Absolutely disgusting. Trying to send parcels to customers of my business and was told by a women I can only send 2 parcels at a time because its a small post office and if I didnt believe her to ring the Royal Mail myself. No one else was in the shop at time of arrival and when someone came in another man served them anyway. I said can I come back later/tomorrow to send more and she said yes so its obvious they can send more than 2 its just they are lazy and provide a poor customer service. She also told me if I want to send multiple parcels to go to a bigger post office.

Dont bother! Agree with the other posted comments. They mess you around saying the post office system is down come back tomorrow. Tomorrow his wife has a doctors appointment so he cant serve me. Clearly cant full fill the service to the Royal Mail if only his wife can serve. Not to mention their general vibe is rude. Went to Rhymney in the end, no issues there at all.

Dreadful experience. Wouldn't accept my large envelope even though it fitted easily into the template. I've sent over 30 of these packages in post offices around the country and this is the first time I've been turned away. Told me to try a different post office. Shocking

They make up the rules as they go along on how many parcels they will take off you so they can get back to serving other customers waiting for their shop side and you are made to feel as an inconvenience should you take more than 2 small parcels to be posted and then they moan at you if you go at a busy time, oh and when that are short staffed the close the post office and tell you its offline but the next town over is working. Poor service
