I have used Arthur Owen several times over many decades and they have always been so careful with my possessions and, perhaps more importantly, very kind and sensitive towards my changing circumstances. I would not hesitate in recommending them; lovely people providing a very professional service.

We've had arthur Owen move us a few times now over the last few years & previously have always had a smooth, pleasant moving experience but unfortunately it was far from that this time & if we move again we will definately be looking elsewhere for removals I believe they've joined forces with other removals companies (arthur owens has bought them out or something like that is what we were told on moving day) I've not got a problem with this but the professionalism has gotten lost somewhere in transit IMHO So to start a surveyor came out deemed we needed a Luton sized van (fair enough, due to access at our new place) we needed 3 vans full in the end (lol) Anyway back to moving day so 2 vans show up one from arthur Owen, another from me and him removals, the guy (we believe from me and him) was quite openly wanting to go home even before walking through the door and very rude too & throughout that day spent much of his time bickering with one of the guys from arthur Owen, again I don't have a problem if he doesn't get on with his colleague that's his business but it's totally uncalled for behaving like that whilst moving a customer, save that for your lunch breaks in your van Him in particular made what was already a stressful situation far worse by asking us several times throughout the day have we completed yet, can you go pick the keys up, can you call your solicitor So we're finally able to collect the keys they place the sofa in the lounge and what happens next they throw themselves on to our sofa and comment how comfy it is, yes thats exactly why WE bought it(erm again totally unproffessional) Fast forward a few weeks and we've finally had time to build our large ( quite expensive & sadly no longer available) dream wardrobe up only to discover some horrible scratches on the front, wouldn't bother me if it was in an area you cannot see or can hide but it's right on the front and it's such a shame as now i want to replace the whole lot (we also have the bed and matching drawers which was purchased in 2016 and was immaculate prior to this move) , I sure hope they're insured as we will be making a complaint & pushing for compensation to replace this I gave leaving this review some serious consideration and had let it go until now but discovering the wardrobe tonight in the state that it's now in has REALLY iced the cake, do better arthur owen/me and him YOU CANNOT SERIOUSLY THINK ITS OK TO CHARGE CLOSE ON 1000 AND PROVIDE SUCH SHOCKING SERVICE AS THIS
