Had a wonderful stay at The Smithy with my two boys. The cottage was so cosy and had everything we needed. So many lovely walks were within short drives, so Deri Fawr was a brilliant base to visit all over Anglesey. Helen and Rick were friendly hosts who made me feel very welcome. The grounds and surroundings made it a very peaceful stay and the ducks, bird feeders and pond were delightful. Also a positive for peace of mind: the EV charge station available for our use. Nearby activities: Many more surrounding places yet to explore for us, but we loved Beaumaris, Moelfre, Porth Eilian for Point Lynas lighthouse walk and Parys Mountain.

Tranquil, beautiful surroundings.nature at its best. Lovely cosy cottage The Byre. Helen and Rick are the most caring hosts you could wish for. Nothing is too much trouble, they are always there when you need them but not intrusive on your space. My sister was staying here and took seriously ill..this was her 2nd stay as she absolutely loves it. Helen looked after her whilst the ambulance came and contacted the family so that we could come and take over. Whilst my sister was in the local hospital in Bangor Helen made us very welcome staying in the cottage ourselves. Lovely big comfortable bedcosy log burner in the lounge, beautiful views from the windows and outdoor patio. Lots of wildlife to see..if you want to have the most relaxing time, have nature around youand beaches very close by then this is the place for you. A very warm welcome is guaranteed! Thank you Helen and Rick x

Great location for reaching local towns and beaches but remote enough to enjoy dark skies and tranquillity. Friendly owners. Nice accommodation ... I can see eight bird species from my armchair. Very large surrounding gardens with many trees and ponds...A wildlife haven...I hope I can get to see the resident red squirrels.
