The NT Car park has been expanded in the last 5 years and is now tarmac with pay and display points, decent toilets and a daytime NT shop where you can sign up for membership. Membership from the shop is worth the money if you are visiting places like Rhossili, Southgate, and the Pembrokeshire Coast (also mountain areas Ysgyryd Fawr and Cwm Gwdi) a few times a year. If you go straight in to sign up for membership by direct debit (about 10 minutes), they'll give you a temporary membership ticket for the day, so it's free that day for signing up. Pop that on your dash and skip off to see the peaceful ponies, bees and butterflies, explore the newly acquired NT wildflower meadows where the fantastic sunflowers became an Internet sensation with worms head as a backdrop. Enjoy the views of Rhossili beach, spot the shipwreck and dream about living in the NT cottage under Rhossili Down while having a picnic on the lush grass cliffs of Worms head. Walk around the coastguard lookout to overlook Hunts Bay or Cross over the rocky causeway to spot some seals basking over the edges, bobbing in the water and all sorts of birds that nest on the outer head. Pose on devil's Bridge for your picture! Leave plenty of time to return! Tide times are on a board as you go over. Don't risk crossing if you can see the water creeping up, it's further than it looks. The Worms Head Hotel and several small shops are surrounding the car park for lunch, ice cream, gifts, drinks and dinner. Views from worms head Hotel beer garden are stunning at sunset.
