Stay at Mewslade. The Wedge and The store

We had an amazing time exploring Rhossili with the Wedge as our home base. Our hosts Anna and Jem made us feel so immediately at home, and the small space is brilliantly organized. We had everything we needed, including an adorable and fully stocked pantry full of snacks and proactively refilled by Anna. The Wedge is also fantastically located, with immediate and direct access to the coastal walking paths and mere minutes from Mewslade Beach. Last but not least, Anna and Jem were a joy to meet and befriend! They were incredibly kind and generous, and so eager to humour my desire to befriend every 4-legged creature in sight. Jem also gave us fantastic cycling directions to help us cycle out on a very windy day. We will certainly visit and stay here again!!

In our favorite beauty spot on the Gower this is the most beautifully designed holiday home we could imagine; lovely & very stylish but in a minimalist way, offering a secluded private space with lots of light, access to a cosy courtyard; equipped with everything one would need and functionally perfect. You reach some of the most spectacular cliffs and beaches within minutes along impressive footpaths. We particularly enjoyed the sleeping space in the rooftop with glimpses of the night sky and sunrise served at bedside. Anna and Jem are perfect hosts, very friendly and helpful; it was a great pleasure to meet them. Already longing to come back again, Beate & Martin

We stayed for a week at The Store and were thoroughly impressed with this cosy holiday cottage. Clean rooms with spacious kitchen, an excellent bathroom, as well as wifi and Netflix on the TV. The owners Anna and Jem made us feel very welcome, even recommending a secluded cove just a few minutes' walk away. They also rent out surfboards for use on the magnficent Rhossili beach, 15 minutes' walk away.

Weve had the most wonderful stay at The Store. It had everything we could possibly need for a perfect self catering break. We echo the words of the previous reviews , if you are reading this & are researching a place to stay , then this is the place, we cant recommend this enough. Infact we enjoyed it so much , we have just booked another stay , it really is a gem of a place.

Staying at The Store was a delight. Jem & Anna have created an amazing, well-equipped, warm and cosy hideaway full of natural light. Deceptively spacious with plenty of storage space, the Store has everything you need for a self-catering break. The snug little lounge/TV area has a comfy fold-down sofa bed (in addition to the loft bed area), reading chairs and a wide range of TV viewing options (including Netflix which I appreciated not having experienced it before!). The patio seating areas are also great places for breakfast or drinks last thing at night. Jem & Anna are super friendly and helpful hosts with intimate local knowledge and suggestions for discovering all that is on offer right on the doorstep and further afield. The nearby cliffs, bays and coast path are fab and literally just outside the door. It's also a birdwatchers paradise! I highly recommend Jem & Annas place I certainly hope to be back.
