Welsh Royal Crystal

After reading some of the reviews on here I almost didn't go and visit Welsh Royal Crystal but I'm so glad I did. They had just what I was looking for amongst all their Crystal on display and even managed to engrave it for me in super quick time. They rang as promised as soon as it was ready and wrapped it carefully and presented it in a lovely box ready for me to give as a gift. Brilliant service and a warm welcome. Please don't be put off by other reviews. Make your own mind up.

Avoid at all costs, place is just a sad looking industrial unit next to a funeral parlor. There was just a receptionist behind a desk in a room .. she was the only person we saw. No glass being blown .. no music, just an empty modern looking workshop and a room with shelves of glasses and stuff they have made. Very depressing experience. Go to Milano instead.. they really put on a show with their glass making skills

Took a green glass decanter stopper in to have s small chip polished off. Called six times over three months and was told that it was not done as the man had not been in. Finally called and said I would take it away. Saw that it was completely smashed. Various excuses given but finally admitted they had dropped.it on the concrete floor, but it was left at my Risk. Now have a valuable decanter that is worthless. Do not use this place .

Great trip to Welsh Crystal, they've been absolutely decimated loosing 2 summers' of award etc. Yet despite running a skeleton crew we had a great chat with the master engraver and were shown how he plans and engraves the glass (all with an epic commute each day). Able to get a piece engraved and picked up a few days later. Excellent value good in the shop and great to see the shop stocking back up after lockdowns. Definitely recommend for an afternoon trip
