We booked a week's stay in the Granary at Nannerth, and will certainly be staying again. The hosts are accommodating and friendly, and the overall situation and layout is lovely. There's good walking from the door, including a nice drop down to the Wye, and any resulting aches can be eased out in the hot tub, nicely situated for a good view across the valley. There's a very good hide at the bottom of the field for watching badgers in evening, and there's plenty of wildlife around the grounds.

Nannerth Country Holidays is a lovely remote self catering accommodation with several options in the heart of Wales surrounded by mountains, forests, rivers, reservoirs and dams. The owners are very helpful and the accommodation is very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend if you like to get away from it all in a country location with hot tubs too.

We stayed in the loft (2 adults) and it was fantastic. The Welsh weather didn't disappoint with lots of rain but equally lots of sun and clear night's for star gazing from the hot tub. Alison and Andre couldn't do enough to make our stay amazing and their two little cockers just topped it off (Carrie even took us on an adventure of the farm!). Lots to do in the local area such a Devils bridge, the Dams, red kite feeding, Aberystwyth and the local village Rhayader. The accommodation is on a farm so there are also animal (including the friendliest pig ever!) There is a lovely tea rooms (old swan) that we visited 3 times during our 4 night stay! It's amazing. We also went to the independent cafe in Rhayader for Sunday lunch (recommended by Andre) and it was the best I've had in a long while! Fantastic place to stay, would highly recommend for anyone wanting a quiet getaway with fantastic views and friendly atmosphere. Only negative was when we arrived we had a swarm (like something out of the movies) in the bathroom that had nested in the window frame. Lots of fly spray later and they were dealt with but each day there was a new pile of dead flies on the bathroom floor to hoover up. It's not something that can really be managed being out in the country so just be prepared to get spraying if you have to.
