        Very nice walks. I did get a bit lost at first and ended up going backwards against the sign posts. Just make sure you start at the Elan visitor center and cross the small foot bridge by the electric generators of the bottom dam. You should see the RSPB board by the gate and you can't go wrong from their, just follow the arrows. Great mature woodland for bird spotting. With some of the walk near the rocky heaths you've got a good chance of spotting plenty of birds if you know what your looking for. Some of the birds I saw (mid/late April) include: Redstart, Pied flycatcher, Stonechat and Wheatear. 100% recommend.
