Currently Lakewell Utilities ltd are still installing a Marsh Treatment Plant for me and I personally wanted to take the time to thank the whole team for the way its been handled, Ian and Bryan in particular have been fantastic and very understanding and professional throughout and found solutions to any issues that came up and kept me well informed. I would recommend this company to anyone that want the job done right, you will not be disappointed.

I would not advise anyone to work for this company, especially if your self employed. Lakewell Utilities agreed a day rate with a recruitment agency, for myself as a Bricklayer. Then after my first day they tried to poach me from the recruitment agency, to go on their books, for a lot less money. Very poor communication & resources from Lakewell manager regarding the jobs they had on. A lot is expected of you, like being in charge of jobs, but lack of accurate information of what was required to carry out work, wrong tools & materials not ordered for jobs on time, which added time & delays I declined the offer to work on books, which they did not like. They persisted with this offer so I decided to leave after two weeks, which they also didn't like. They sent me a message to return all their company logo PPE. I was told that another Bricklayer had started & left the company after a few weeks, due to similar circumstances, just before I had started. I advise anyone thinking of working for these to give them a miss. One of the worst construction companies I have ever worked for in 30 years.
