        I love Chepstow Garden Centre and I am often there. Today I decided to join the garden club as some plants were discounted if you joined. I gave my name, address and e mail but declined to fill in the date of birth box. The young cashier was persistent that I wouldnt get an online birthday voucher without it. I didnt want the birthday voucher, so she approached an older lady for advice. The older lady, marched up to me without saying a word or giving any eye contact and aggressively scrubbed my e mail address off the form, treating me like a common criminal who would be punished for not giving my exact age. I dont want e mail promotions in any case, but the garden centre have lost out on cheap advertising because of a jobsworth assistant.

        Lovely cafe with really friendly staff. Big garden centre with lots of different plants and gifts. Fab customer service and a brilliant little farm shop too
