Neil Powell Master Butchers - Chepstow

Excellent quality meat.. Christmas turkey local and organic!!! The review below by Anne is totally unfair. I ordered my Xmas meat at the beginning of December and received a collection slot of 22 Dec, closest they had to Xmas, even back then!. They had to organise it this way due to social distancing and the fact they were so damn busy...truly sorry for your parents but to call a few days before Xmas?!? This local business did the best they could and the turkey was absolutely amazing!!! Worth the queueing!

There's no shortage of good butchers in this area, but Neil Powell are the best. Great meat, fair prices and fab customer service.

The most unhelpful, unfriendly service I have ever experienced. Butchers that are so anti cutting fresh meat.... if I wanted pre packed meat I would go to a supermarket. Definitely award winning for lack of customer service!!!

Well what can I say of the quality of the meat and the staff ..it really does spoil you as nothing tastes quite as good..I have been going to Neil Powell's at Chepstow garden centre for many years and I have never been disappointed.Christmas wouldn't be as good without the free range turkey and pork. The ham that you cook yourself has NEVER been beaten. I love to cook and the family love to eat and quality is the key. The staff are brilliant and the layout of the produce is great..I can't rate them highly enough. You can get cheaper or you can get beautiful meat that you feel that you have the animal welfare in mind too..I remember when I was a child my mum cooking me lamb chops and the cheap imported lamb pales into insignificance with what you get here..it's just quality..... I can't believe it's taken me this long to get to grips with the review....simply brilliant
