Firstly, the only positive, the lodges are lovely well equiped holiday homes in well maintained grounds set in a semi rural location. The negatives, Park rules regularly abused by some lodge owners to detriment of others, disinterested often absent management can be intimidating if lodge owners complain. As a previous holiday home user here I strongly advise prospective buyers to contact National Association of Caravan Owners for advice to find out pros & cons of buying a holiday home. The upkeep and warranty costs maintaining these lodges satisfactorily are expensive as well as ground rent only heading skywards each year. My initial experience here with the then park owner was enjoyable, but the park changed hands months later and under that ownership it was horrendous. That management reacted negatively to grievances, had lackadaisical responses, a dismissive attitude and were carelessly negligent. I will also mention there is no community spirit here and some lodge owners are extremely selfish with a small minority exuding nastiness. The grounds are very well kept and lodges are lovely so I have given them 1/5, if I could rate the management of the park it would be a negative score but as I'm not permitted to do that it will have to be 0/5. If contemplating buying my advice is simple, avoid!
