Its difficult where to begin. Sit at your table with a large copper plate in front of you. One knife one fork no napkins. Each course plate is placed on top of the copper plate even if it's an entirely different shape. This is off the menu, that is off the menu. That drink is not available. What you are given isn't what you ask for. One of the "chefs" in the kitchen is clearly ill, high, or hung over. The waitress really hasn't a clue about customer service. You can see into the prep area but soon wish you couldn't. Fresh produce is handled then hands are run through greasy hair then back to the food again. The food is not exactly appetising after all of the above. The knife and fork you used for starters is the knife and fork you use for every other course. There are no blinds on the windows so when the sun is out if you're in one of the many hot seats you are going to cook. We had to leave the table one after the other to cool down in the shade across the road. Will we be back. What do you think?

Lumpy powered mash, frozen veg, poor quality. No glasses with drinks. Long wait. Food sat waiting to be served for over 8mins. Never again. Poor quality and vastly overpriced. Dont do it- walk on buy. Not sure what the massive lump was in my potatoes. Also guy in kitchen with beard cover it up.

What a transformation this little place has had, the new owners have done an amazing job. The food was beautiful, we went in the evening. Staff are very friendly and covid measures are adhered to. Would very much recommend a visit here.

looking at the other review which are so positive, I wondered if they were having a bad day when we went. The service was really poor. Tea served in a coffee mug with the teabag still inside. Not greeted at the door. No one asked if everything was ok with our meals. Because we could see into the kitchen we knew that out food had sat at the pads for 10 minutes. Such a shame as the decor is really nice. need to decide if they are a bistro or a greasy spoon cafe.
