Ive just purchased and installed a slate hearth for my wood burning stove. The whole process was very easy - measured up with the recommended spacing, delivered to London well wrapped and protected in about 1 week. Slid into place with no issues - quality product.

Called in on our way home to Hampshire from a holiday on the Lleyn Peninsula to enquire if they had any natural riven thick pieces of grey slate suitable for an informal memorial in a woodland burial ground. Most of the slate on site was pre-cut, but Neil invited us to look round the yard, although he was not optimistic we would find what we were looking for. So we were delighted to find one piece of slate which seemed just right. We quickly agreed a very reasonable price with Neil and were able to take the slate home with us straightaway. Neil was very pleasant to deal with. A good experience. I would certainly contact Grey Slate & Stone Ltd if I need some slate again in the future.
