Lovely range of crafts and really friendly lady serving me! Bought a very funky tea cosy and a cushion made from a 1960s blanket!

Such a shame. I approached the window of this craft shop and it looked rather nice. I spotted a knitted sheep I thought my sister would like as she collects them. So, whilst stood OUTSIDE of the shop, I went to snap a photo to send to her to ask if she would like it. Before I could I was shouted at through the window by a member of staff telling me I couldn't take photos. If I was asked not to take photos inside the shop that is obviously a reasonable request however to be told I can't outside, in a public area of a public shop window is ridiculous. Also, for anyone unaware, noone can stop you taking a photo in a public place. The backward thinking of the staff member presumably worried in case I steal the design of a sheep rather than the forward thinking that I might actually be sending it to someone to ask if they would like me to buy it is crazy. I did inform the member of staff I am well within my right and she cannot stop me to which apparently I was causing an arguement. For a shop in a tourist area relying heavily on tourists to survive it's a shame this lady failed to represent core values of customer service.
