Golden Fleece Inn

The food here was lovely! I had the rarebit burger which was delicious. Came with a nice beetroot salad and amazing crunchy chips. Would definitely come back here again.

Nice place to stay for a couple of nights, not sure I would want to stay much longer. The Inn was very clean and tidy, plus the staff were very friendly. Our room was smaller than expected. There was a resonable restaurant menu choice but their restaurant was more expensive than we were expecting so we didn't any meals there. The square where the Inn is located is quite small with very limited parking as the Inn doesn't have its own car park. In the square is a Spar supermarket plus other restaurants and a fish and chip shop. The local town of Porthmadog has quite alot of shops and restaurants etc but so many of them were closed. Considering we stayed there in May, we were surprised how many were closed. There is a Welsh Hertitage railway station in Porthmadog but they don't have a car park unless you are disabled ! You have to drive into town and park in the Wilko car park.

Very lovely accommodation & staff. Great deal + breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Pretty and quiet. Amazing breakfast and large dinner menu. Only thing I would suggest is another mirror somewhere in the bedroom area as plug for hairdryer was in the bedroom and the flex only just stretched round to the bathroom mirror also no bath mat otherwise perfect
