They charged us 70 to do an assessment and provided us with a scanned image of muscle stress in the back? The result of this assessment was that we needed to signup to a three-month plan that we had to pay in advance more than 700 after doing research on the scan there is a lot of information out there that shows the scan doesnt have any approved diagnosis capabilities and is used by a lot of chiropractors to generate revenue namely getting people to sign up to lengthy upfront plans. we sought advice from another local chiropractor without mentioning coming here first we are assessed for free and are now on a pay per visit plan which seems to be much more open and honest.

After sustaining a repetitive strain injury in my neck 2 years ago I was living with a lot of pain and the over worked NHS was offering little help apart from strong pain killers that really wasn't getting me anywhere. My quality of life was suffering and I was really struggling with work. I was really quite desperate for a solution. I was advised by a few friends and my wife to see a Chiropractor. Someone who was working for me suggested I spoke to Martin Walker who had helped him with good results. I contacted them at the Porthcawl practice and took benefit of an offer they were having at the time for an initial consultation. After a thorough look at my issue I was given an honest and open opinion of what was going wrong and advised on a course of action that would bring benefits. Even detailing exactly how much improvement I could expect and the time scale involved. I was also offered various options as to levels of care I could benefit from and how much it was likely to cost. Despite being a naturally sceptical person my wife insisted I committed to an intial period of treatment. I'M GLAD I DID! Walkers have shown me how they unlock the bodies own healing abilities by correcting the alignment of the body (and other techniques that I just dont understand tbh) As the weeks have gone by slowly and surely the pain has subsided and the mobility in the neck is almost back to normal. I am truly grateful and somewhat amazed by how much Martin Walker has been able to restore. I now understand why paying week by week initially is a waste of time. I've found it better to trust this mans judgement and benefit from the cost savings of puchasing a care package tailored specifically for me and my issues that is mutually agreed upon. What i've paid is honestly very reasonable considering what i've gained. The owner of this practice is a very knowledgable man who is a good listener and an expert in his field. Research reveals he has taught many other Chiropractors how to do what they do. I therefore am happy to recommend Walkers Chiropractors to anyone and everyone and I'm so grateful to them for helping me to get off the pain killers and restore much of my quality of life.
