Tynrhyd Retreat

We have just come back from a fantastic break away at the Tynrhyd Retreat and can highly recommended. We (8 adults, 4 kids, 3 dogs) stayed in the farmhouse and thoroughly enjoyed our week away. Gareth was always helpful and we will hopefully be back again in the future

I had the pleasure of staying here in the Easter school holidays. We hired the whole place which included 2 large houses and a farm house. There is so much land and a hot tub. The place is perfect for a large family get together. Our beds were comfy and the place is well equipped. The views and bird song were phenomenal. It was a joy to sit on a bench overlooking the pond with a glass of wine.

If you are planning on staying here, be sure to factor in the "damage deposit" into your costs, the rude owner will use any excuse to retain the full amount with no explanation given and no attempt to communicate with customers. If you believe your damage deopsit is safe so long as you don't cause any damage you will be severely mistaken. The owner has no issue breaking covid guidelines for the sake of a few pounds either.

We stayed for 30th birthday celebrations, there was 35 of us including 4 small children and there was no water , from arriving on Friday afternoon to leaving on Sunday morning managed to get one very cold shower no flushing toilets no drinking water ! When speaking to the owner although he was quite polite he just didnt seem to care , then said on the Saturday evening was fixed by Sunday morning broke again so just packed up and went straight home which was disappointing as we where all supposed to be sopping for lunch on the way but just felt to dirty to do so
