Miskin Manor is so beautiful. The staff are brilliant and can't do enough. The rooms are in keeping with the style but with modern elements where they're important. Food is amazing and the grounds are well kept. Can't recommend enough.

Really small bar area for so many people. Waiting up to 20min to get served. Three instances of people being overcharged for drinks. Ridiculously hard to get taxis at 7 pm .Hotel should be able to supply such a basic requirement for guests. Had to walk and catch the last bus

If I could give half a star I would. The half being purely for the setting. The staff were blunt and rude. The food was hardly warm after waiting over an hour, drinks order not correct, didn't want to complain as the staff didn't even look like they wanted to be there let alone to help. We went for the Sunday roast...this ended up being 1 slice of meat, 3 different veggies, 3 roast potatoes and that's it. My friend then waited 25 mins for a slice of millionaires shortbread...which when it arrived it was the size of a box of matches, with 1 raspberry on the plate. Well and truly a waste of time. Only 1 member of staff seemed welcoming and he wasn't even part of the restaurant by the looks. Will NOT EVER be going again. To top it off got food poisoning.
