Polite staff...but that doesn't get the work done! Ordered materials to be delivered 8 days later. Agreed am slot - I stressed that was VERY important! This was noted and underlined on the paper work. Was told to be ready between 7am to 12pm but because I was the first order for that day, I was told to expect it at 7am. It's now gone 12.30pm. Still no sign. No call from the driver/office to me. Tried to phone the office 3 times. No answer. Made a special journey to enquire. Was told the drivers had gone to Cardiff, that the unloading arm on the truck had broken down and bad traffic to blame (I predicted all of these excuses before my visit). Was told delivery would be by 1pm the latest. No good if you're on a building site, waiting. I also had to pay my labourer his money for sitting round all morning. It also caused me a LOT of other inconveniences. Kerri, who I spoke with, stated they shouldn't offer delivery slots, because no one else does (in my experience, they do) and that she has a number of delivery complaints (what does that tell you?) She also stated delivery should be anytime over a few days! Like we have time to sit round drinking tea. What a waste of time! A negative knock on effect with my other jobs for my customers - Very disappointing! Kerri apologised but that doesn't pay the bills or keep my customers happy! Update: gone 3pm - no delivery - Got a refund. Was told a manager would call me. To date; over a month later; no call. That's how much they value their customers! I WAS a long term customer (some other issues over the years e.g. over charged for materials)...I've had enough...not a customer anymore!
