I drove 45 minutes for an MOT at this garage because it has very good reviews online and its the garage that the place I got my car from uses, who Id had a good experience with when buying it. Ive had my 10 year old car for a year now, but no issues were found in todays MOT. So most importantly, I feel Village Motors is a very trustworthy place of business which is crucial and increasingly rare nowadays. Thanks.

I had to take my car here as they did the work for the company that sold me the car. They had replaced the discs and pads but they squealed horrendously. When I took it to them it was obvious they were less than enthused to be repairing their very basic mechanical cockup; very cold bordering on rude reception. I returned to get my car noticing a considerable amount of grease applied to the brake pad plate (way more than I've ever seen on any other car) and drove off. Their mechanical expertise had managed to reduce the squeal to only happening intermittently and they still do 4 months later. They obviously didn't bother checking their work. If they can't manage such a basic task as changing brakes, I would never trust them with anything substantial. So two stars, because they at least didn't break anything.
