Poor. Failed to turn up and did not offer an explanation as to why.

On first meeting with Dave. He came across very knowledgeable and experienced and was full of great ideas and after a few prompts he provided us with an initial quote for the work we originally had in mind and promised to provide us with a follow up quote for an idea he had suggested to help bring the costs down to within our budget which we were hopeful for. Sadly despite attempting to get in touch in follow up to his ideas, he decided to ignore my calls and messages and when I did finally get through (using my wife's phone as he wouldn't answer mine) he made up all sorts of excuses for not responding to me (sim card out of action for 5 days despite it ringing when dialled) and promised to have the second quote to us that evening but it never did happen and then continued to ignore my calls. I had to assume that he either lost interest in the job and changed his mind. We would have excepted that he has simply told us that, rather than make up poor excuses and ignore contact. It's a real shame as we honestly thought we had found the right builder for the project which had taken us months to source. So we'll now have to keep looking
