Charming cottage, a short distance from Betws y Coed and Snowdonia, complete with its own small herd of alpacas, duck pond and amazing views. Our family used all four bedrooms and three of the glamping units. Everything was faultless. Incredible attention to detail. Bedrooms were warm with comfortable beds, the en-suite bathrooms offered lovely toiletries, bathrobes, hairdryer, etc. Glamping units were quirky, cosy, comfortable and clean and had their own well equipped communal lounge/kitchen area. We were served a hearty English breakfast every day that kept us going until the evening. Our stay was made perfect by Claire and Nigels attention to detail and kindness.

We chose to stay here for a long weekend in one of the Shepherd's Huts. We've been to a few different glamping and camping sites and this is probably the most welcoming and well equipped site that we've come across. Everything has been thought of. The communal kitchen is a decent size with TVs, a dining table and sofa. The cookware is all nearly new and every utensil that you could need to cook a decent meal is there, which makes a nice change from the hand-me-downs that you find in the kitchens at most of these places! There's also a small pantry with soft drinks and cooking basics to buy at a reasonable price, should you forget to bring anything. Each hut has its own fridge space in the kitchen along with a fire pit, a spot for a BBQ and a washing line. The hut was nice and warm overnight and there's even a little electric fireplace for those extra cold nights. Bedding, towels and dressing gowns are provided along with a welcome hamper containing fresh eggs, bread and locally produced sausages and bacon, which really extends the B&B experience to the glamping huts. My hats off to Claire and Nigel.

We had a delightful stay at the Llwyn Onn Guest House. Claire, the proprietor exuded goodwill and hospitality. She took care of every detail, down to the smallest request. We stayed in an ensuite bedroom. The smallish bathroom was equipped with every toiletry and item one could ever want, better than most hotels. The bed was comfortable, too. There was a sitting area upstairs as well as downstairs available to the guests to relax in. The surrounding countryside was entirely wonderful for an evening stroll. We went to the pub down the lane and had a delicious dinner. Claire is the hostess with the mostess. It was my favorite stop on our tour of North Wales, because it had a bit of the feeling like we'd somehow gone back in time to a quieter era when farmers lived close to the land. I do hope to go back again one day!
