Care In Hand gave me many opportunities to improve myself, learn new skills and gain confidence. They have supported me throughout the whole process and they are always happy to help as much as they can. I was pretty nervous at first as I have never worked in social care but the training and shadowing shifts as well as supportive colleagues helped a lot to gain confidence. Lastly, the company is quite flexible and they always try to do their best to make the shifts suitable for you.

Great company to work for, really supportive and friendly colleagues, management are supportive and understanding too, such a rewarding job with lots of opportunities to offer and the pay is pretty good too! Highly recommend!

I've been working with care in hand for a couple of years now as a mental health support worker, and it's the best job I've had! Management is fantastic! They see you as a person not just a staff member, and really try and work with you and work around any obstacles to help you fit work around your life the best way possible. The training and ongoing work towards qualifications are brilliant! And the skills I'm learning here will be so useful for either progressing within the company or if I want to go in another direction with mental health training in the future. The wage is great too. But the boost to self confidence the job has given me and the understanding of management has really made this job stand out to me above all others I have had. I had never had a job in social care before so I was incredibly nervous, but they offered me extra shadowing shifts etc till I felt confident and that really helped me so much too.
