        We requested Darren to remove a decommissioned extractor fan in the fireplace and close/replace the broken and chipped bricks inside the fireplace and in the external wall. He did an outstanding job by perfectly matching locally reclaimed bricks and using suitable mortar for a period property. We were amazed not to be able to find where the fan and cage were as the repointing, colour, shade and "patina" of the bricks were blending perfectly with the surrounding original bricks... It is so rare to find a dedicated, meticulous and friendly contractor! I would highly recommend his services and we are already planning future projects with him.

        Darren made our house sign 3 years ago, beautifully carving the lettering onto slate. I didn't think he could do any better until he recently worked gold into the lettering and gave the slate a more authentic look. Needless to say I am thrilled. A very talented stonemason. Highly recommended!
