        Really nice enjoyable walk plenty of great scenery woods are fun for children to explore and the waterfall and lakes beautiful. Enjoyable couple hrs spent there.

        I only walked past Aston care home to get to the woods. Great place for a semi secluded walk, or bike ride, esp on a hot day. Plenty of different areas to stroll in. Riverside, ( can be muddy ), woods, pathways. Dogs love the streams & children enjoy a paddle at the foot of the waterfall.( slippery, though ). Very pretty lake with ducks, herons, lilies. Great cafe with covered seating area, overlooking pretty garden. Parking 2, I think for all day. I would prefer a 1 option for less time for a quick walk with the dog. The volunteers work hard, maintaining & improving such a vast area. I think a few pieces of play equipment, in keeping with the woodland, dotted around, would be a wonderful asset.
