Stayed 5 nights on the CL site. It's an idyllic location with amazing views and absolute silence from road traffic. The site is very well kept, and its well worth a visit to the animals, especially to pet Cilla the (black) sheep, and see the llamas! Perfect location to visit the entire coast from Cardigan to Aberystwyth, and recommend a visit to both Aberporth and Llangranog.

We have just had a most wonderful, peaceful week in the Stables Cottage with our two grandchildren. Philippa and Mark couldn't have made us feel more welcome than what they have done. Philippa let our granddaughter help with the miniature Shetlands each day, which was an added bonus. Feeding the ducks, sheep, donkeys and alpacas was almost part of our daily routine. Great for children! The cottage itself was very spacious, spotless and had all that we needed. We only had a couple of trips out to the beaches, and at Mynt beach we saw lots of dolphins off shore. The Coastal Farm was lovely for the children, and spotted seals from the cliff tops. The Shire Farm was nearby and spent an afternoon there, along with castle visits, and a lovely day crabbing at New Quay. A brilliant week away, and will definitely be recommending it to friends and family, and will hopefully back for another visit. Thank you Philippa and Mark for sharing your beautiful and special place with us. Geoff, Jill, Jack and Evie

We have stayed here twice now with very different experiences ? In 2021 we enjoyed a 10 night stay and couldn't fault the site or hosts in any way. However, this year during another 10 night stay we left feeling as though we had done something wrong during our stay, as almost no interaction with the hosts (not even a "hope you enjoyed your stay", "see you next year") and a feeling that we weren't welcome ? The site had also increased their prices by 56% (16 up to 25 per night) which we weren't made aware of until we arrived (we paid without issue) and although this wasn't an issue for us several guests mentioned that it would be prohibitive in the future and would lead them to look elsewhere. It is very sad as the farm has very sentimental memories for us going back many years but I suppose life goes on and times change.
