We had googled dog friendly pubs and this one was highly recommended, the sign outside said dog friendly, it was lightly raining and we had just arrived, so we popped in for a coffee to check it out before lunch and the bar man said 'yes we do coffee, buy there's a problem', expecting him to say the coffee machine was broken, I enquired the issue, 'the problem is your dog', she was well behaved, so we left, utterly baffled and shall never return again, why extensively advertise something you don't offer????

Absolutely fantastic hospitality and food. Spent Good Friday and Saturday here as B&B guests and ate here both evenings. The best menu for a long time, options to have battered cockles to start, rainbow trout, sea bream, cod or battered cod then, Kippers for breakfast! Great wine beer and atmosphere! Thanks to ALL we thoroughly enjoyed everything you had to offer, oh yes the omelette for breakfast SO good! Parking: Well signed off of The Parade around the back.
