If your thinking of buying a pipe from the Estate Pipe Shop you can do so with total confidence. Currently I have bought 14 pipes from Estate Pipe Shop ranging in price from 50 to 200, and no mater what grade of pipe I ordered the same level of care and attention was given to each to bring the pipe up to the highest level of restoration possible. The bowls are polished the stems obsidian black and glossy and the chambers carefully reamed and an even coat of pre-carbon paste added. Sanitized to what appears to be at a clinical level and no past owners ghosts haunting the pipe. Unless there is some obvious sign of wear or age related mark which will be stated pictured and the pipe priced accordingly... all the pipes here appear as if they were new...as have been all pipes that have come to me. The owner is very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, happy to talk pipes and his passion is evident in his work and the quality of the photography on the website... which is so important when choosing a pipe. the Estate Pipe Shop has pretty much become my one stop shop for pipes and I'll be buying pipes from here for years to come (its become a bit problem actually, but I've given in to the fact I have a very bad case of P.A.D!). Anyway its with some trepidation I write this review for fear it will increase competition for the pipes that I am interested in. But credit where credit is due the Estate Pipe Shop really does deserve a good word, and as part of the pipe smoking community I'm happy to put it out there. Enjoy! Will.

To date, I have purchased a John Brumfit 311 and a 313, a Peterson Church Warden, a Royal Dutch 484 from Estate Pipe Shop, and I have just ordered a Parker Bruyere 140. All the pipes have arrived on time, safely packed, completely sanitized, and in a beautiful condition. You would be hard pressed to know that they were estate pipes. My wife will be sure to grumble, "Don't you have enough pipes?", but I will continue to purchase pipes from Dean at Estate Pipe shop. Great pipes at a great price.
