I visited the Talbot Timber side of LBS. I did not know that LBS had taken over Talbot Timber having said this, This was the place to be if you wanted anything WOOD. The wood mill is here and majority of the wood storage. I found that the showroom could be filled out more ( something like displays regarding wood or DIY or trade) it looks quite empty. The staff member who served me was attentive and said if I needed anything wood he would help me. If you are wanting Timber cut to a certain size ( and delivered if needed) this is the place to go. They have been doing this for many years and they know what they are doing.

Good local builders merchant. Open to general public. Small selection of screws and fasteners etc. I use Screwfix for screws and fittings. Lbs I use for sand, cement, plasterboard. They do deliver as I understand.
